When coming back to
the country, you must fill in a form of Customs declaration N°OM2087
that should be hand in by your transporter company, or for its lack you
should solicitate in the Customs local office.
If you go in the country by waterway or overland, remember you can bring
as handluggage without paying any kind of fee:- - - -Clothes and objects
for personal belongings.
- Books, leaflets and newspapers.
- Other items that not have any commercial purpose. The amount limited
is U$S 150-per passenger (U$S 75 for children under 16 year-old). Do not
forget that the exemption from Customs duties could only be used once
per month.
- Goods acquired in the free shop from arrivals, people acquire an additional
exemption from Customs duties of U$S 300- per passenger. When the exemption
is in excess, you must pay a fee equivalent of 50% of the total excess.
Baggage does not have exemption.
Do not forget to have and show the invoice of the purchased good you are
going to enter.
Remember that in any difficulty, you are responsible in front of the law
for the contents of the luggage you transport.

Travelers and passengers
that get into Argentinean territory should declare ( in the Customs Declaration
form-Income Values) the income of more than U$S 10.000 ( ten thousand
dollars) or its equivalent in the Argentinean currency, in cash or financial
instrument ( i.e.: any other means of payment, cheques, including travelers
cheques ).
It is prohibited the export of bank notes, foreign currency and valuable
metals over the amount of U$S 10.000 (ten thousand dollars) or its equivalent
in other currency except if it is done through exchange and financial
entities with their respective authorizations. (Resolución General

VEHICLES
CIRCULATION
All community vehicles
of MERCOSUR as cars, motorbikes, breakdown trucks, shipment or loading
that are matriculated and are on circulation in a different state from
the vehicle’s registry.
The driver must have the following documents:
1. Identity card valid for circulation in the MERCOSUR.
2. Driver’s license.
3. Tourist document sent out by migration’s authorities.
4. Permission to drive the vehicle in case it is not driven by the owner,
sent out by public authorities.
5. Certification or other document that testify the vehicle’s property.
6. Insurance proof of payment in the MERCOSUR.
If the vehicle is
not rented, the documentation mentioned above in 4., 5., 6., will be replaced
by circulation’s authorization of the MERCOSUR. (ACM) Given by the
rented entity.
